I challenge you to show me something more cursed than Geographic Information System file formats. I know at least a hundred different ones, most have subvariants and can encode data in 9000 ways. Some even store each dataset as a collection of files and if you are missing one... things happen.
(I'm definitely not going to regret this challenge)

This is the #RVPC, a 1 Euro "computer" you can order from #Olimex in Bulgaria. It sports a WCH #CH32V003 #RISCV microcontroller with 16 kB Flash/2 kB RAM, a VGA port, a PS/2 keyboard port and a buzzer. The VGA signal has to be generated entirely in software.
Today I soldered the PCB but didn't have the time to flash it yet. I'll probably flash the #BASIC interpreter first.

We're a week and a half into the 6.17 #Linux kernel merge window and #bcachefs has neither been removed nor have the queued patches been merged.
Today Alex Galvin asked Linus to clarify his future stance on this, with Kent Overstreet immediately weighing in in his usual manner. Linus didn't respond so far, but if there may have been a slim chance of him backing down, I think Overstreet has again pushed all the necessary buttons to not make that happen.
