An old guy's complaint.
I go to the hardware store and ask for something simple, like paint thinner. You know, Stoddard solvent. I want to thin oil paint and clean brushes.
They sell me some stuff that looks like it was already used to clean brushes of white paint. It says Paint Thinner. Shake well before using. WTF?
The MSDS says it is completely soluble in water.
I'm all for new technology. I'm pissed when they put misleading labels. The kid seling doesn't know the difference.

I talked to a #Lyft driver about "No #tax on #tips ."
He told me a funny story. Lyft got him a 50% discount on Intuit Turbotax. No discount on the state portion, though. When he got done, the app told him to watch out for the IRS. With the losses he claimed--using the standard mileage deduction--his gig was in danger of being classified a hobby. He'd owe tax on the total fares paid by riders. No deductions whatsoever.
