@MLE_online I worked with someone who hated cats.
He was really, really, really not a nice person.
He's now serving life in prison from what I've been told.
Friend- "hey, my car failed inspection because the back hubs are bad. They want to charge me $1000 and I can't afford it. Can you do better?"
Me- "yeah, I can, but it'll be $200 for parts and another $100 in tools. Is that good?"
Friend- "I was hoping you'd do it for $500!"
Me- oh, uh, can I charge an extra $50 for tools? I really want a nice sledgehammer."
Friend- "uh... What? Sledgehammer? Why do you... Y'know what, that's fine. As long as it's done this weekend."
Turns out it's way easier to do fiberglass with epoxy resin and compatible mat, than with woven sheet. The mat can be torn apart and used as filler, which really helps when you screw up and cut your repair sheets wrong.
@Redfuchs I had 20 years of experience and a degree when I got my last job. I used to have a lead role. I got a "senior entry level" position. As in, a position meant for people with 2 years of experience. And the people who had 2 years' experience ended up with the base job, which was supposed to go to people who are brand new to the industry. Neither paid as well as an assistant manager at a fast food restaurant.
@gewt I think normal is a relative concept. To me? You're pretty normal. But I'm not normal to most people.
@Pepijn I have, but only for a photo shoot.
I've ridden a cow before.
