StilesTyson completed her PhD in history at Birkbeck College, UofL in 2021, at age 69. Her research focuses on #ACuriousHerbal, an 18ty century book produced by native Londoner #ElizabethBlackwell nee Simpson. StilesTyson divides time between US state of Michigan and English county of Dorset. She advocates green justice, is a progressive Christian, and holds late capitalism in utter contempt.
