Craig Grannell@daringfireball Last year, I lost critical data for the first time in years, due to iCloud screw-ups. Never happened with Dropbox. This year, iCloud randomly dumped a slew of empty folders in my Desktop, Downloads and Documents directories that scared the life out of me until I realised via Time Machine I’d long ago deleted them. And iCloud Drive also routinely resets the date of a folder when you move it, which is bonkers. (Local folders don’t have that happen.)
