Woohoo! A feed full of cats and reminders of the cat tax has reminded me that today is Caturday!
My book progresses.
I feel like I am two-thirds of the way through, but as I write, the story changes and becomes more than it was, so perhaps that’s premature. I am definitely past the half-way mark though.
It’s going to be chunky, and that’s good. It’s also spawning an entirely new Universe, and that’s excellent. My loose idea of a series is becoming more cohesive in my head.
23,000 words into writing my novel, and these are the stats that get me excited!
For context, the higher the Flesch reading ease, and the lower the Flesch-Kincaid grade level, the easier a book is to read. Assuming I continue writing in the same style, my novel, which will be Young Adult Fantasy, will be readable by children in grade 6, although some of the concepts may be more suitable for teens or adults.

I get that it’s supposed to be flattering when your artwork gets stolen, but this took literally weeks to paint and I doubt I’ll ever see any return on those hours, so it hurts when someone else is out there trying to make money off it.
