Steelhelm body with GSC shotgun and Stormcast helm. I originally thought two pauldrons would be too much, now one looks like too little. Maybe if it were on the leading arm it would be better? I may need to add some metallics to show chipping on the helm and pauldron still.

Bit of green accent to use these guys for Eire Rangers once there is a whole group of them.

I must have knocked her over by accident because at some point her judgemental finger fell off. Time to check the bits for a spare Necron finger to replace it with. I'm pleased with the clothing, need to shade and layer the face and the door she is standing on feels like it could use some rust.

Little distraction project for my distraction project.

Movement tray made of plasticard, a magnetic sheet, and coffee stirrers. A quick coat of black paint and it should fade right into the background.

I did it for two ranks of five because that would be a combined unit in #OnePageRules but are there other unit sizes with building to for other games?

Ranking up some more Orcs!

Took on the bigger task this time and stopped the old paint off first, then reassembled on the new bases, and gave an all over dry brush of Wraithbone. There was still enough paint/primer/something on then after the stripping that I opted not to reprime. We will see if that is a mistake.

Another second hand re-paint. The Shuriken Cannons were lost to time, but the previous owner was clever enough to keep the weapon arms detached for easy swapping.

I didn't notice until later how close the mini was to the back drop. Looks pretty funny to have the shadow against the sky.

Don't call it a rescue, but these were second hand, mostly assembled, and a bit painted. Not some eBay horror story, but not my colors and not my style.

I left the old color on, re-primed and re-painted. I loved layering up the gradient on the heads, even if you can't really tell in most light.

Anyone know a good guide for crystalline axes?
