As you process the impossible abomination of an innocent woman murdered by her own government, pay attention to the stories that shape the reception, aftermath, and history of this horror. There will be stories claiming she was killed in self defense. There will be stories calling her a terrorist. There will be stories describing her attempt to escape from a trap. There will be stories describing her as a hero. Do your research, be motivated by compassion, and only tell and retell true stories.

Here's a doozy of a comment on my latest Tolkien video: "Tolkiens works are more suited to the Western European masculine mind. I’m sorry Higgins experienced cognitive distress in attempting to comprehend his works." Oh, and he went on to say I also don't understand JRRT because I'm 63 years old and insecure.
