Conflicting advice is unhelpful, but I suspect that the best plan would be find an assessor who is familiar with Linux, and explain my thinking.
Ideally, I'd find a small business offering a personal service to work with for this, as pretty much every company that I have looked at so far has a website which just screams "sales funnel" at me.
I have a 2009 MacBook.
I want to dual boot Snow leopard (os x) and Linux - possibly KDE but I haven't settled on that yet.
Is dual boot possible or am I just heading for a world of pain?
Also I'm familiar with KDE Plasma but is there a better Distro better suited for this ?
