It's becoming increasingly clear that nobody will take climate change *prevention* seriously. So as individuals, it becomes important to develop personal mitigation strategies.
Ideally to me this looks like forming communities devoted to providing themselves with the basics: food, housing, and medical co-ops associated with local farms and supply providers.
