@DuchessWillow That cop then went out and talked to the other cops, came back to the car, uncuffed me and let me go.
I'm guessing I was let go because of my white privilege.
I will be writing everything down and sending it to mayor, police internal affairs, and public defenders officers because I WANT them to look at the bodycam those cops were wearing.
That cop needs to shown to the unemployment line. He's dangerous.
@DuchessWillow and I told him to check the bodycam footage of all the cops there. He would see that I confirmed the accused was there, went and got him, waited until AFTER the accused had been arrested and brought to the car, never raised my hands at anyone, but to go ahead and bring me in if he wanted a false arrest charge since the bodycam footage would make it clear I had no intention of interfering with the arrest nor did I ever raise my hands or threaten anyone.

@DuchessWillow until after the resident had been cuffed and brought to the car to confront him about using his foot to block access to closing the door---which I did to prevent a possible confrontation with our German Shepherd.
Once I was in the back of another car, handcuffed, another cop that I think was his boss but I do not know came and asked me for "my side" and I explained everything to him, and told him that I wanted to close the door to prevent cats getting out and because of the dog +
@DuchessWillow The cop smirked with a smug grin and said "I'm just doing my job, next time you had better let me" to which I replied "Your badge does not give you the right to use intimidation tactics like using your foot to block the door of a home you have not been invited into".
Next thing I knew, he grabbed me and accused me of having raised my arms at him and he arrested me for "interfering with his investigation". Absolutely ridiculous since I never raised my arms at him and I waited +
@DuchessWillow After waking him up, I returned to the front door and confirmed that he was in the house, and told the cops I had just woken him and he would be out shortly.
When the resident came to the door, I stepped back at least 30 feet. He went outside, where he was arrested.
I then waited until he had been taken to the cop car and then went out to explain to the cop that we have indoor cats and a German Shepherd which is why I insisted upon closing the door.

@DuchessWillow his foot in the door. I asked him to remove his foot so I could close the door, last thing I wanted was our dog deciding he was a threat and getting shot.
He replied "Just go get him" to which I replied "I will but you have not been invited into the house, I want to close the door and will not go get him until I can close the door."
He smirked at me and then did remove his foot and I closed the door and went and got who they were asking for.

@DuchessWillow I have no idea of guilt and have no way of knowing.
This morning, the cops knocked on the door. If they had a warrant, they didn't say they had one. I had no knowledge they were planning to arrest him.
I unlocked the door, opened it. When they asked for him, I said I would go get him. One of the officers put his foot inside the house to prevent me from closing the door. If he had asked to come in I would have likely let him, after putting the dog away. He didn't, he just put +
