The Training Day is back! The @SoCraTes_UK ‘26 unconference is in the UK near London from June 18th (links in thread), and we’re excited to announce we will be joined by Gemma Cameron, with her session “Hands-on: Bringing User Stories to Life”.

The hardest thing about software development is sharing ideas and understanding your users. What are we making, who is it for, what problems do they currently have, how can we fix them, how will they feel? What could go wrong for them?

@SoCraTes UK CIC Training Day: We now have a full programme of content from eight amazing trainers! First up, @Jon Jagger with his session “TDD Game with Cyber-Dojo”.

You will be practicing test driven development away from the pressures of getting things done. You will be using the innovative, open source, browser based https://Cyber-dojo.org which provides a highly effective environment designed specifically for reflection and improvement. A hands-on intense but fun workshop with no slides.

This year, we welcome @romeu as our facilitator for the Open Space! A familiar face in software crafters' circles, he'll want to code with us all :D

As a facilitator, he'll explain how we self-organise and guide us through 2+ days of creating and enjoying sessions.

@lisihocke will discuss how to make things a bit more secure than yesterday every day, in her session "How to create a secure development lifecycle" at #SoCraTesUK 's training day on 18th June.
