I will probably leave the video up since I wanted to upload something on Sunday and don't wish to change that because of such a dumb mistake (wish YouTube allowed us to replace the video in studios but it's whatever) So I will treat this as a live and learn type thing for future reference.

However, all that effort was for not as none of it made it into the final video. I have looked into it. The editing software I use, which is called Shotcut apparently unmutes things during the export process for whatever reason. So, note to myself and anyone else using Shotcut, the mute filter doesn't work outside of the editing itself.

I am quite pissed off at the moment. I was too busy on Sunday to double-check the video after it finished exporting to know that something had gone wrong with the video. To give some context, I spent over 10 plus hours editing video to remove some of the noise in it, like me coughing and such.
