#Substack openly platforms—and profits from—#Nazis. And not just nudge-nudge-wink-wink types of Nazis, but literal black-swastika “NatSoc” Nazis. And they recommend Nazi writers.

If you are still on Substack either as a reader or publisher, please seriously consider leaving the platform. It’s a Nazi bar. You don’t want to give them your money or your attention. I hear ghost dot org is a great, Nazi-free alternative.

Revealed: How Substack makes money from hosting Nazi newsletters

Exclusive: Site takes a cut of subscriptions to content that promotes far-right ideology, white supremacy and antisemitism

The Guardian

“If this is not stopped right here, right now, I don't think anybody who is seriously looking at this problem can have much faith in how our republic is going to go in the future.”

‘Shocking, Unusual Times’: Federal Judge Weighs Constitutionality of Trump’s Surge in Minnesota — NOTUS

Minnesota state officials pleaded that the court step in to stop Trump’s immigration enforcement operations and “retaliation” against the state.

Anyway I’m having a lot of fun with #Crossplay. Here’s my invite code! https://nytimes.onelink.me/B892/kyfqicif
Download the Crossplay app

Connect, compete and learn with Crossplay, a new two-player word game from New York Times Games designed for friendly competition and social connection.

Unfortunately for me, they played right next to it. Still, I think the 76 points for this was worth the swap—it also prevented them from playing off of this!
Now, #Crossplay lets you preview plays while your opponent is taking their turn. If I can make this next play, it’ll be for 96 points.

Just had the big brain play of my life in #Crossplay. My opponent played QUILL in the bottom-left one space above a triple word score. I don’t have an S. But I check the bag and sure enough, there’s one S left in the game.

I don’t know if my opponent has the S but I know my best chance is to get 7 tries to get it out of the bag. So I swap all of my tiles.

Jackpot.

Just pushed the button to launch a new Kickstarter for Iconfactory!

We want to make Ollie's Arcade entirely free and add at least one more game to it. (Really, I'd like to add a lot more games to it if we can raise the funds!)

I got a 3D printer and it’s great. You can print so many things—like parts and accessories for your 3D printer!

I spent a lot of time in the 90s working on Y2K. It wasn't a huge panic. It was just a slice out of everything else we spent auditing code. It wasn't "spend 80 hours a week fixing this." It was just boring. Incredibly boring. And we made it be ok by being bored and fixing stuff.

And the one thing I never thought would happen was that people would say it was never a problem. Oh good grief, it was a problem. All over. We just fixed it. Like we thought grownups should do when there's a problem.
