Started something back in Deceber and ended up abandoning it for the exact reasons talked about in this video.

I'm writing "The person you want to become is on the other side of the pain you're trying to avoid" on a sticky and hanging it on my monitor.

I’ve been experimenting with learning in public using a “Crafting in an MMORPG” mindset.

After spending some time on a Django/SaaS questline, I’m shifting my focus back to game development, where my curiosity and momentum are strongest right now.

Same philosophy, new crafting discipline

New project! I want to learn how to build SaaS applications using Python and Django. I'll be moving in small chunks and documenting my progress along the way. Here is my start:

I’m more interested in self-hostable, open models, but I figure I can take what I learn from these two and apply it to working with models via #Ollama.

So, I found two resources that look like a good starting point for learning #AI.
Kaggle has a 5-day #GenAI crash course, and Dev.to offers a short track on building apps with AI. Both use Google AI Studio, which should be interesting to explore.

I'll admit that I'm woefully behind on what's happening in AI, but I've accepted that should drink the kool-aid and get caught up. If you know any good newsletters, blogs, or videos that explain what's going on with AI, I'd appreciate the recommendations.

@donni Damn, I forgot too. Oh well, I'll try to remember tomorrow.
