i fucking hate doing this but here we are.

i've -3$ in my bank account right now, i've been unemployed since the pandemic started, and the gigs i've been working have all but completely dried up in the past few weeks.

Sadly it looks like my wife @fairlady and I need help again. Penny just recently got fired from her job and had to pay a speeding ticket and my union is currently in a contract negotiation where the company is refusing to move an inch so it's looking really likely that we're gonna strike soon. It's hard right now with Penny's income lost but if we strike then we'll have no income at all. We're already having to dip into the little bit we have in savings so at this point anything helps. hi everyone, some of you know this already, but my teeth are fucked, like, putting my life at risk fucked.

when i was younger i didn't care about myself and frankly wanted to die, so i didn't care for my health at all, this had the biggest impact on my teeth.

things got significantly worse during and after the time i was homeless, i regularly experienced severe pain, but eventually even that stopped.

now i have to have my teeth removed and dentures made, but i simply don't have the money to cover it all.

i've received a government subsidy to help pay for the dental work i need doing, but that covers only $900 of what is looking like will be $8000 worth of work.

i have $2.5k saved, and my mum is giving me another $3k, however that means i'm going to be around $2k short.

the good news is this is all in australian dollars, so it's not quite as much because our dollar sucks.
