If I could make one Fediverse-wide feature request, it would be:

Links to anything that generates revenue for the account owner should be stamped with the commercial equivalent of an “NSFW” content warning.

One crucial feature that the Fediverse/Mastodon is missing that Twitter has:

tooltip access to profile information with a simple mouseover of a username.

I've been trying to populate my Home feed sensibly, and so I've been checking not only Local and Fediverse but also investigating people who boost or favorite my comments (not wanting an echo chamber but unexpected insight from people of similar mind).

The latter is tedious, requiring a right-click and new window for every one....
