Something I've learned I'm real picky about linguistically is when people use 'footprints' and 'footsteps' interchangeably. Footprints are the effect of footsteps, there are no prints without previously taken steps.
"His footprints landed heavily against the tiled floor." Impossible, try again.

🧵It's super fucking annoying how every time I go to my neurologist and tell her about some symptom I have she'll recommend the medication that made my life so difficult that I was made to think about taking it if I were forced to continue on the way I had become.
Like, Doctor, I couldn't (sometimes still can't) think, speak, communicate, or use my hands; I would much rather suffer a mild tremor than endure that hellish nightmare again, thanks.
