Wonder if there is any historical precedent where the winning party, despite securing a ruling majority, is labeled a loser, while those who technically lost the election are deemed victorious. 🤔
Of all the victories, the sweetest is BJP losing Ayodhya.

So many little delicious victories within the large victory. After a decade of depressing news, the heart is having a hard time expanding to accommodate all the good news trickling in.

I need a new heart. 😔

Heard this delicious news from reliable sources that the single BJP win in Kerala is because of the star value of the candidate, not a real win “for BJP”, and that BJP in Kerala is unhappy with Suresh Gopi (as expected) and his supporters (at least a section) were happy that Modi-led BJP got a slap in their face.

Not sure how representative this information is, hope to read more analysis on this.

It feels like a dream. Much grateful to everyone who made this victory possible.

I miss being on twitter, amidst the celebrating crowd. For the first time I am feeling lonely, in a far away country, without anyone to share the joy.

I gave in to a whim, and made a foolish resolution, that if BJP/NDA loses (or even if it wins by a small margin), I’ll forgive everyone who I had a panga with. Big mistake. Never thought it would come to that. 😓

"Beauty has long since disappeared. It has slipped beneath the surface of the noise—the noise of words, the noise of cars, the noise of music, the noise of signs—we live in constantly. It has sunk as deep as Atlantis. The only thing left of it is the word, whose meaning loses clarity from year to year."

Electoral victory is a huge relief, it will certainly make Karnataka safer for the minorities, we need to celebrate this moment, feel much grateful for everyone who worked hard for this to happen but can't afford to forget that the social fabric is badly torn, the communal poison has seeped deep inside, that within the limits of our abilities, we need to find ways to work within our homes and communities to combat hate and misinformation.
Amidst the celebration, suddenly feeling worried, remembering Sha's warning about KA breaking into riots if INC wins. Hope nothing untoward happens.😔

Heard Aaj tak did a segment praising RG as Neta Mohabbatwala, and Sudhir Choudhury is praising him for opening "a whole show room of love in the market of hatred."

Was hoping media to change tune, but didn't expect this drastic, that too from core Sanghi TV, what is up? Has Modi lost his sheen already, Hindutva hate has lost currency? What about corporate funders, they changed ship too? 'All this sounds too good to be true, but hope the tide is turning.
