I feel like books and bookreaders skewed more normal 15+ years ago when I was more involved in it, what I am seeing in many many areas is a worldwide chronic fatigue/brainfog epidemic. Reading the book was so much effort for them, they resented it when it wasn't to their taste.
They feigned ignorance about Literally How This Works or any knowledge of the phrase 'good faith' like you are not obligated to give a good review, but a gram of empathy may reveal the insight that a writer doesn't want your *bad* reviews and you can just keep that to the groupchat.
Just saw a post from a bookgroup who had been reached out to by an author. The author gave them ebooks to review for free, and in a wilful misunderstanding of why people might give free samples or solicit reviews in the first place, the bookclub gave her 1 and 2 star reviews.
Had a look to see what happened with the AI generated 'live event' for 28th March and unsurprisingly, there is no event, the tiktok and instagram now have 0 posts, and the website has now been redesigned to offer a vaguely defined (and still not signposted as AI) 'live broadcast'

Infinity Beauty, I love this outfit which is Dreamtime Bestowed 2.3 hair+dress (my green dyed Glow Up version) with the wings and (dyed) legs from Forest Ripple 2.1.

Why is it disgusting you ask?
1. Flirting with men. Nasty, are men not approaching you? 2. 'Scalp-hair' what a horrendous conjunction 'finger-styled' also horrendous on a lesser scale 3. Fixing a stranger's hair (this is fully vomit-level to me) 4. Scratching a stranger's scalp

This and people talking about an adult lover reading to them, which is not revolting like the screenshot, but just offputting and irritating (I promise I can read, and a lot faster than anyone would comfortably read to me)

Whatever sexuality this is I don't want it or have it 😅

Every one of these words used in this exact order and context is so unintentionally revolting, if I had an eating disorder I'd screenshot it for later use (related: TW if you do have one and are reading, do not read the screenshot)
I tried to install Capcut on my old pc I use for art and music, forgot about it but had to switch the power off three times since it randomly froze. Uninstalled Capcut and no problems since, so it's obviously trying to run in the background even though I never opened the program.
Cover of 'Wish You Were Here' by Pink Floyd (obv)
Heard a ska(!) version of this on Hypem which reminded me, I sang it about ten years ago last time, so I had another go. Always a bit taken aback by my new stronger voice at first.
