Does anyone have that clip of that reporter during the 2016 presidential campaigns commenting on the future winner’s public statements and asking “what does he mean when he says words?”
It’s like the problem he was commenting on was contagious and has been spreading
How does this even happen?
I don't know exactly how macOS handles the Preboot volume, but it's not one I can eject even if I wanted to; it's either not a real volume, or one the OS manages and usually doesn't let you know about (or maybe both).
If Preboot can get disconnected, could that be related to why macOS can't install an update?

It’s hard to see in the video but it’s raining now, and the air temperature has been below freezing overnight but getting warmer and crossing above freezing right about now. It might all melt this afternoon, if not I may have to adjust my grocery plan
The earliest programming I remember doing was in some variant of BASIC, copying simple games from the back of a book and fiddling with them to make changes I wanted. I still have the book, which I think my dad “borrowed” from a coworker for me. Both of them are named “Thom”, I had no idea BASIC was co-invented by a “Tom”.

This is a terrible ID verification question. Within a few miles are several business parks, subdivisions, neighborhoods, containing dozens of roads I've never seen or heard of; in this case I couldn't find any of these on a map. It's bad enough the credit bureaus can't tell the difference between my address and my parents and former roommates addresses, now they're inventing questions that don't even have a correct answer. Only thing to be done about it is complain to the CFPB and legislature
Why does the Covid death toll from this holiday season look so much lower than last year? Is it actually lower despite the lack of precautions, abundant variants, fading monovalent vaccinations, scarcity of bivalent vaccinations, and holiday gatherings? Is it misattribution because repeated infection reduces immune response in the acute phase and the origin of fatal organ damage isn't recognized? Is it lack of diagnosis from overwhelmed hospitals? Something else?
