Made changes to the pattern ( those lines inside).
And cut the pieces out for the second attempt.
But first i have to finish the jacket, which hangs around for weeks now.

But it is fine to wear. For my taste a bit too high in the waist. But that is an easy change.
I already changed the pattern, so the next attempt will be soon.

This weekend i finished the first attempt. All in all it went quite well and straight forward, but i made two mistakes.
First, i need to be more careful of my thread tension, the first few seams weren´t that nice, but they work so it is fine.
Second, i did cut the elastic for the leg openings (is that the correct term?) too short. I first calculated with minus 15%, but thought that is too much. Yeah, it wasn´t.

Yesterday i had some time to draft a pattern (per hand😮 rare indeed).
I never made or tried to make my underwear myself, but it always interested me.
I also hardly ever sew with knitted fabric, i always prefer woven fabric (maybe sometimes with a bit of stretch).
So this will be an experiment.
My first try will be a simple slip. I think the front looks good, but i struggled a bit with the lower curve of the back...we will see.

First i have to say, i´m sorry i went silent that past few weeks. But those have been very hard for me mentally.I´m really struggling at the moment and i feel i´m just one inconvience away from breaking down. I do hope it gets better once the weather is much warmer (althought it is unusual warm for this time of the year already).

Look at that ridiculous sleeve!
It is massive and it took long to knit...can't wait that this project is finished.
One sleeve, the right front piece and the collar pieces still need to be knitted, so this will still take a while.

Week 7: Second Winter!
It´s cold and wintery again...haha. After a really warm week, yesterday it started to snow in the evening. And apparently i´m getting a cold again, the last few days were a bit up and down. So this will probably be a shorter blog post. Oh and yesterday was Fasching (Carneval) in our little village. I live next to the main square and the Inn...i could feel the bass,(the vibration of the music), while sitting at my PC.
