  • now many dubious open source-ish knockoffs in python and rust being derived directly from the source

What's anthropic going to do, sue them? Insist in court that LLM recreating copyrighted code is a violation of copyright???

Let’s be clear. Deploying ICE at polling places is intended to intimidate racial minorities who are U.S. citizens from voting.
And 18 U.S.C. § 592 prohibits military or civil officials from stationing troops or armed personnel at polling locations, unless necessary to repel armed enemies

I really enjoy my job most days, but it's been a whole lot of "manager stuff" and a lot less "actually getting things done and moving the company forward" the past few weeks.

At least I'm #workfromhome in #sandiego so I can take a nice walk on the beach and de-stress.

If I can't do a fun job, I can still live in a fantastic place.
