Saw this fella on a wall this past weekend. Just chillin'. Taking a break from fishing.
They are usually standing still or slowly stalking things, so this was an anomaly.
Finally finished off the cinnamon rolls that @rxmel74 made. I say " finally" because I could have just eaten them all in one sitting, fresh from the oven.
But I didn't. I had self control.
It instead took a whole 3 days to finish them all.😃

On the lame-ass https://realfood.gov/ site, when you scroll the bottom "food cards" (?) really fast there's an easter egg. A rotten, rotten egg.
I went for a walk during a break in the rain, and lucked out that it was also low tide. I expected the beach to be empty, but I see everyone else had the same idea.
Had a relaxing #christmas at home with @rxmel74 playing #lego Voyagers for a bit. Got about half way through it, so rewarding ourselves by trying out the Vochill things she got us
So far...not that great. More expensive, but less effective than whiskey stones.
Maybe I'm just impatient.
Today was @rxmel74 's yearly holiday party for her friends. She did all the work, but somehow I'm also tired? I don't understand how that works.

Since @rxmel74 wanted to buy some coupe glasses, I decided we'd break them in with a new cocktail tonight.
"Intro to Aperol" is interesting. Gin, Aperol, lemon juice (our car wash guy gave us some fresh lemons!), and Angostura bitters.
More refreshing than I'd normally pick for a cool evening, but tasty! Feels like a good match for the glasses. (The coupe glasses, not my dorky "eyes are tired of contact lenses" old people glasses)
Melissa and I started our nightly "let's head upstairs and settle in for the night" routine, so I flipped on the news to catch up on what happened in the world.
Picked #bbc since the local news hadn't started yet.
Saw #nvidia was in the 1st new segment. Cool.
Noticed some dork gesticulating wildly....oh hey... THAT"S ME!
What a trip.
