Graphic designer, writer and publisher. Born in Rotterdam, raised in Voorburg, lives in Amsterdam. Worked as layout man at ALOHA underground mag 1972-74. Started DE POEZENKRANT newsletter in 1974, FURORE magazine in 1975. Co-produced The Beau Hunks’ recordings of Hal Roach background music, 1992-2000. The Beatles’ London (with Mark Lewisohn and Adam Smith), 1992, 2008. Book and film about James Avati, 2000 and 2005, Art director VPRO Gids 1998-2014. Book about Willem Frederik Hermans, 2020-2022.
