@obscurosaur I use https://edge.app wallet then select "buy cryptocurrencies" then select your country to see a selection of offers. Now you can buy bitcoin direct through brave browser powered by Binance. I would use the mint and spend feature to erase your transaction history on the blockchain before spending but I'm extra like that for the sake of #privacy. It's up to you to do the extra steps.

I buy gift cards with #bitcoin, #Zcoin @zcoin, and other #cryptocurrencies to top up accounts I have on Steam, PSN, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, and Hulu so I can remove my real name, card number, and billing address. These big companies get hacked all the time, our information is stolen and used by nefarious people to commit identity fraud (opening up new credit cards in your name). Why not create a degree of separation for our safety?

I hope blockchain censorship resistant video/media services like Speed.ch https://spee.ch/faq that publishes on the $LBRY #blockchain gets more popular and commonplace and a YouTube competitor such as Bitchute https://www.bitchute.com/faq/ seems to be cool too. I found out one of my favorite #privacy content creators publish to these platforms. They both support #cryptocurrency and that's a win to me.
