Hiya! I'm Saraf, a socially awkward environmentalist from a teeny tiny country called Bangladesh 🇧🇩. I'm a Sufi soul who cares deeply about human rights & climate justice. Love to meet interesting people from all over. I also like to rant about the state of the world while wearing handcrafted Sarees & holding a cuppa ☕. I'm a bookworm, a Plant mom & a dedicated pogonophile 😉. In this platform, I'll mostly talk about books, plants & share interesting aspects of my life as a Bengali woman.
When I stand on the beach, with my long dark hair flowing behind me like a cape, I no longer feel small or insecure of how I look. Because I'm reminded that life on Earth first began soon after the oceans formed, and that the atoms in my body can be traced back to the ancient stars that made these in their cores and when they exploded billions of years ago, the atoms got hurled across the Universe like fertile cosmic seeds.
Cosmic seedlings should NOT be bound by petty insecurities.
