blakandblackIt was the anniversary of my brother’s suicide a few days ago. John committed suicide because he found the racism he was subjected to, by society, unbearable. I’ve had John ‘s son living with my family since his death.
Racism and discrimination against Aboriginal people is still alive and well in Australia. They impact on our lives from birth to death. This isn’t something that Australia should be proud of.
