Anyway, now I have a few days of sick leave, so that's nice. Some time for Slay the Spire and Stargate, maybe catching up on some of the blog posts that I have been meaning to write, but haven't.
So, I went in for a scheduled minor operation today to get one annoyance dealt with. The nurse had some trouble getting the IV antibiotics hooked up, so asked an anaesthesiologist for help. The guy is apparently a bit unfamiliar with the kind of cannula and goes "So, can I just pull this out...? Nope, definitely can't!" as I felt blood running down my hand. Was a fun guy though and sorted it out easily and quickly. All in all, the staff had very good vibes, 10/10.

In other news, I think Ubuntu 24.04 is driving me towards compiling my own kernel again. The 6.17 kernel is still broken weeks later and I am willing to bet that I could get a newer kernel working just fine.
I love how well MS Edge is designed. I open up the PWAs for Teams and Outlook and the whole fucking browser grinds to halt while presumbaly Microsoft vacuums the entirety of my disk or mines some cryptocurrency while Outlook is loading up. Why is Outlook somehow managing to freeze even the other tabs and windows?
