So yeah, last Thursday I decided to take my bike and some camping gear off into the woods of a national park. Stayed the night and aside from the night being maybe a bit chillier than I'd hoped and the early wake up on Friday, it was fun. Some of the hills were maybe more of a type 2 kind of fun, but I survived quite a few of them without having to hop off and push. Might try this again some day when tech work is stressing me out with all of its stupidity.

So, the one time I decided to bike out into the woods to go camping, a warning goes out in the capital area about a possible off-course drone and I wake up to jet fighters flying overhead. Didn't even know what was going on until I biked back home. Maybe this is a sign from the universe to not run off into the woods again.

The townhall responses corporate leadership give when asked about the possibility of an AI bubble sure have a big "RBMK reactor cores don't explode" energy.
