Just reading as I wait for tutoring to finish. Long story. I’m researching shell shock\PTSD when I just learned there were other maladies I guess from the stress of it all. Gas Shock and something called DAH aka Soldier’s Heart. My note records this all before the 1918 flu, though I guess other illnesses could also have contributed.

I cannot help but wonder if our constant news, video clips and doomscrolling could lead to similar outcomes. 🧐

Getting docs so I can apply for Irish status. Please enjoy the English snacks my mom has set out. My soul is an Irish soul I promise. My dad still refuses to have anything to do with the old country, but has chosen not to block my application.

My kids are already citizens and we just want to be a full set in case of US ideations.

Trying out for a thing, whether you get in or not is still worth the effort because going through the process makes continuous applications easier, and the work builds momentum.
