3. Do you think there is a creative element to eating?

Yes I do. It's based on my view on what creativity is, and what just consuming something is.
If I stuff myself with something while I read, watch tv etc., it certainly isn't creative. On the other hand, if I appreciate the preparation, freshness, and taste, see and feel the textures, smell the aroma... of course it is. Is drinking wine creative? Just like that. I think every mindful activity is creative. For me, creativity doesn't only mean making something for others to see. I create experiences for myself, whether that's enjoying bird song, a concert, getting lost in a book or eating a good meal.

#ScribesAndMakers 3Apr—Do you think there's a creative element to eating?

There's a creative element to everything, if you try hard enough.

I think many of us are so caught up in our routines that we often forget to eat with care (myself included). But like with every creative endeavor, the beauty comes with taking time to be present and enjoy it.

Eating itself might not be creative, per se, but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate the food like you would any other art form.

Enough... I know. But a phone is so convenient for quick snaps as he went out for business. The sun was right there as natural lighting in the second photo. A few darker pink ones blossomed among lighter ones. Don't be afraid to stand out 👍
One more day.

What does imposter syndrome mean to you and do you think you have it?

Imposter Syndrome: An uneasy sense that who you present yourself as lies at odds with who you think you are.

It's most prevalent when you feel that your inner reality isn't up to your outer projection. That you are unworthy of some higher status.

"I'm not really that good. I'm just pretending that I know what I'm doing."

I thought I had it in the beginning before I realized that self-doubt is critical to improvement. Without that sense of "I could do better," I have no incentive to grow.

I realized that every other person engaged in their art or craft must feel the same way to some degree unless they lacked any kind of self awareness. Any sense of growth or improvement.

My self-doubt doesn't make me an imposter. It makes me a member of the clan I wish to claim membership in.

#WritersCoffeeClub 1Apr—What arrangement of plots do you have? No plot? Only one? A main plot & side plot? Something else?

For a series, there's a plot for each book and the series as a whole. The former is always wrapped up prior to its end, while the latter spans across all books.

For standalone books, there's only one main plot, maybe a side plot for funsies.

This is, of course, putting aside each MC's arc, which is interwoven with the other plots. You know, to keep it interesting. 😇

@AnnaSaultron Haha, that's good to know! 😆 Thanks again!
