Sam Heughan talks Outlander Season 6 including the new sets, that opening scene, and what's to come

Listen to this episode from Silence on Set on Spotify.  Sam Heughan sat down with Silence on Set podcast to talk about the show's upcoming season, the importance of history, and that awful droughtlander.  Hosts: Monica Gleberman  Editor: Polina Jdanova  Social Media Graphic: Jojo  --  Synopsis:  The sixth season of “Outlander” sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America. Establishing a home in the New World is by no means an easy task, particularly in the wild backcountry of North Carolina– and perhaps most significantly – during a dramatic political upheaval. The Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a society which – as Claire knows all too well – is unwittingly marching towards Revolution. Against this backdrop, which heralds the birth of the new American nation, Claire and Jamie have built a home together at Fraser's Ridge. They must now defend this home – established on land granted to them by the Crown – not only from external forces but also from the increasing strife and conflict in the community within their care. For the Frasers and their immediate family, “home” is more than simply a site in which they live; it is where they are laying the foundations for the rest of their lives.  If Season Four asked, “What is home?” and Season Five asked, “What are you willing to do to protect your home?” then Season Six explores what happens when there is disharmony and division among the inhabitants of the home you’ve created: when you become an outsider, or an "outlander" so to speak, marginalized and rejected in your own home.   Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @SilenceonSet and Instagram @SilenceonSetPod --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/silence-on-set/support

Congratulations to #SamHeughan on his BAFTA Scotland audience award. Well deserved.
I'm very happy to notice, that it's slowly becoming a community here. Over the last day many #Outlander fans have found their way here and the hashtag actually shows some results. Please, if you're new, introduce yourself with the hashtags you like and then people will be able to find you and follow you!

@Hanca @joeypatton do use the debirdify link to find people who are from Twitter here, really helped with user names if they’re not obvious. All the people I’m following so far are on different servers and I didn’t have any trouble finding them in the search part. I’m hoping any kinks get worked out soon when the influx calms down!

That's it. That's the post.
Btw, do GIFs don't work here?
I think I'm the only #Outlander fan on this server, but I hope my fellow ex tweeps fund me through hashtags. Follow me if you love #OutlanderStarz #SamHeughan #CaitrionaBalfe #Scotland #Mypeakchallenge #MPC #TheSassenach #Sassenachspirits #MeninKilts #Clanlands #waypoints
Third day on Mastodon. Can't say I figured it out so far, but I'm not giving up. What I don't understand is why I can't see the followers/followed of my "friends" here. It would make it so much easier to build my bubble. Hashtags don't seem to work for me. Or literally noone shares my interests, which is, of course also a possibility.

KEEP IN MIND! #Mastodon doesn't work like #Twitter!

Have you just made the #Twexit or the #TwitterMigration?

Favorites ⭐ - they're not "likes". They don't "elevate" posts, they just the poster know you liked their post.

Boosts 🔁 - these push someone's post into your friends feeds (and help discovery).

So if you ⭐ my posts, that's great (and I love you too)!

But if you 🔁 posts, then more people see them!

OH! - #Hashtags are how you search!
