A very SAD lady that speaks out about Schedule A lawsuits. The SAD scheme.

I will go on about this a lot and probably not much else. I'm talking to defendants most days, from across the world. #MoralSupport

So Mr Musk has 5 #ScheduleA lawsuits on the go in Florida. He probably has no idea 🤷‍♀️

It's good to see 2 out of the 5 judges questioning joinder. Interesting how there's only 55 defendants on the 265 case whereas there's at least 400+ on at least 3 others. #ScheduleAFightsBack

Well helloooo

It's been a while. All things #SADScheme went quiet.

And then I woke up and found hundreds of people being sued again all panicking. The hearing says it's an in person hearing too 🙄

Florida, and Tesla!

No bond required either, but definitely a #ScheduleA lawsuit

Defendant’s parody is of a Care Bear with a Mr T theme.

Ironic!!! - "Any reasonable person that love’s the 80’s, can see the comedic effect of a caring cute looking bear styled as a tough guy, that played a character on the run for a crime he did not commit."

Plaintiff has dismissed defendant after filing a motion, but i'm annoyed the Judge Valderrama didn't make Plaintiff address Defendants motion or issue sanctions. Maybe they can't at this stage?

I regularly hear stories about Etsy shutting down sellers or taking down their products at the drop of a hat. This is often due to someone having gained a trademark for a phrase and over stepping the mark.

It seems there is less understanding of trademarks, OR perhaps these types are IP trolls.

Either way, this could be one to watch. It's not Schedule A however the outcome could affect a lot of schedule A type cases: Girldad vs. DADBOD

Seriously, I'm sure most consumers of Louis Vuitton are clever enough to know when it's not Louis Vuitton. It's not like these guys have slapped Louis Vuitton or their LV logo all over the place in a regular pattern. The UK does not allow for the large monetary claims the the US does, so fair play for them continuing to fight despite the financial impact.

"similarities could dilute the distinctiveness of the Louis Vuitton brand and risk damaging its reputation"

And another little gem from our favourite judge. I love how in this example he's removed one of the mistakes in draft TRO for Plaintiff's counsel.

*insert laugh out loud yellow coloured emotion on a circular shape here*

The pattern I am seeing in cases assigned to Judge Seeger is that a minute entry is posted, and following this the cases either stall (seemingly doing nothing), have an amended complaint where the schedule A list is removed and 1 defendant is left, or all defendants get dropped and case is closed.

This may all be a coincidence of course, but actually, if upon questioning, a case can drop most if not all defendants, then it's likely all those dropped were going to be collateral damage.

I've been looking in to cases assigned to Judge Seeger following a few orders refusing TRO's. Of course all the cases I am interested in are Schedule A cases and there are patterns in these cases.

For now though, what a gem, I have just found. This judge is right up there with my current fav.

How many Schedule A cases..? Have those cases made any dent in the amount of counterfeiting? If the answer is no, what is the purpose of
another game of Whack−A−Mole?
