Only got 1 qso in the log so a failed activation. Quite a warm day with rapid moving fog. The way up took me almost 4 hours from Planina pod Golico. The plus side is that the skiing down was really good.

Some more photos from my recent trip to the old ski resourt of Kobla. The vibe is simular to what you would expect in a place like Chernobil and not a 20min drive from the most known location in Slovenia (Bled Lake)

S5/JA-067 Kravja črna gora

The former ski resourt of Kobla which is still somewhat a interesting spot for backcountry skiing. The slopes are sadly more and more overgrown each year. The Sota peak is right above the top lift station. Closed since 2011 it looks like everyone just left and never came back.

SOTA S5/RB-001 Veliki snežnik. Perfect weather and perfect snow cover. Kindof sad I didnt take my touring skies with me for this activation. Skis On The Air maybe? Also the island of Krk in 9A was visible from the top.

My first time beeing first in a ham radio contest. Good warm up for WPX RTTY this weekend.

Tried doing a winter activation of Mali draški vrh (S5/JA-061) But there wasnt enought snow for a easy climb on top. We decided in the end to do another peak which isnt a sota peak

Haven't had any time for ham radio these last few months. Took advantage of this sunny winter weather for some rock climbing. Ham radio will return back on schedule next year with the BARTG rtty as the first contest.
