@Walker agreed, for sure. But if they are scientists worth their degrees they certainly would have.

Ill eat about anything once. But this... is a hard NOPE. Also, why would the scientists first instinct when they find 5000 year old mummy soup, would be to make bread out of it.

@Walker I used to ask my students who their favorite person in history was. Then I told them that they had on multiple occasions inhaled the air that was exhaled by that very person. That was a shocking awareness to many of them. We constantly inhale and ingest particles from other people, dead and alive. Think of all the dander you have inhaled. How do you see this as different? BTW, thanks for posting. very interesting, both as a scientist and a sourdough bread baker.
