I try to be helpful, and funny. Sometimes succeed. If something I say troubles you, I probably meant to be amusing. Call me on it. I want to learn.
Pronouns he/him go best with the beard. I'll try to honor yours, and am fallible.

Possibly the most frightening talent of the brown bear is an uncanny ability to blend seamlessly into the environment in an almost chameleon-like manner, allowing them to easily surprise their unsuspecting prey.

Today I propose to change the Border code to return a 'meaningful' string rather than those 0-15 integers. I figure I can handle something that tricky, probably.

Yes, yes, yes! And yes, I do mean you. You know who you are.

Wife today found two ants clearly cooperating to drag a dried-out earthworm home. How do they do that? Or did each ant think it had its own treasure? Fascinating!

Quite a lot of detail there, given what your average fossilized remains typically look like ...

Most leaders assume they have self-awareness.  All functioning adults have self-awareness to some degree. The ones who’ve actively developed it know it’s hard. Observing your own patterns while they’re running — noticing when you’re triggered, when you’re avoiding something, when a familiar pattern starts up again—is HARD. Yet that capacity is the root of almost everything else in leadership.
