To my surprise, it seems NIH and HHS are still funding a Covid program that gives you six free tests, free telehealth if you test positive and free Paxlovid mailed to you in the event it’s prescribed.
Seems like they should let people know about this!

Re-reading Kay Graham’s memoir—many lessons about #journalism as an industry, but especially for anyone interested in #labor issues, the chapters on the 1975-1976 pressman’s strike are fairly eye-popping. Quite open about management exploiting labor’s racial and gender exclusions to break class solidarity (the union was exclusively white men); and likewise how management views adopting new tech as an opportunity to erase labor standards premised on current technology. “Progress”!
