Tone can be hard to convey in text, but our hope was simply to contribute to a conversation. We followed the exact same path Mario did, and we shipped it!

Eventually, we thought “Mm, this isn’t quite right”, and tried another idea. It seems clear there’s something worthwhile for Mac apps to consider, and perhaps a convention can be established.
