The journey of experiencing FOSS and decentralization is a breathe of fresh air. Deleted Discord months ago after the initial announcement of digital ID requirement. Just recently deleted Facebook/Meta and reddit will probably be next due to the same problems.

Our US government is actively pressuring social media companies (Data Harvesters) to into giving over our data and tracking and actively going after those who speak out against the governed and what ICE is doing.
We need to stop using centralized social
media sites and just move towards decentralized systems like the fediverse. Most of the clients there can be self hosted and your account can be carried over multiple different clients and servers depending on the host's server connections.
Reddit - Lemey | Instagram- Pixelfed | Youtube - Peertube | Facebook - diaspora* or MeWe | Twitter - Mastodon | Messenger - element, fluffychat, commet.
