@elliotjaystocks I can’t quite unsee that now 😆
@pete almost all the time I’m accused of using an ‘ad blocker’ I’m doing no such thing – I’m using a tracker blocker. My all means show me ads if they don’t track me. I mean I’d rather you didn’t show me ads, but still…
@Luke Lush isn't it? I'm quite the fan of Bobby too: https://f37foundry.com/fonts/f37-bobby

Last week I spoke at the very lovely Web Day Out about browser support. One of the things I mentioned was how the data behind Baseline gives you a way to look into the future of the web platform. I've written some more about that on my blog https://rachelandrew.co.uk/archives/2026/03/20/look-into-the-future-of-the-web-platform/

@paulrobertlloyd Yay! That's wonderful. Very frustrated I couldn't make it along myself - so glad you picked up on it though.
@colly @jonhicks I can vouch for that. Taaaaaasty.

"An error occurred". Why is this the same story with every Government procurement portal ever?

I tried "contact our Customer Support Team" about this error and the contact form sent me straight to this error page.

FFS stop wasting my time Proactis you bunch of cowboys.

Butterflies crossing oceans, moths navigating by the stars: unravelling the mysteries of insect migrations

Trillions of insects embark, largely unnoticed, on epic journeys every year across mountain ranges, deserts and seas, and it is only now, as their numbers suffer huge declines, that scientists are tracking their movements

@jonhicks I'm grass, so hopefully a couple of months to wait for that joy.

I’m winding down with two excellent clients I’ve been working with since January, which means I’ve got some availability for new work coming up soon.

If you need a designer who thinks deeply about systems and teams, and who will ooh and/or ahh over an especially pretty serif, I’d love to chat with you!
