Our May Repair Cafe is coming up! Come visit us at the Lorton Library. Doors open at 10:30, and we close to new repairs at 12:30pm. Knife sharpening closes at 12:00pm to allow time for cleanup. We'd love to see you there!

Volunteers Needed: Saturday, May 9th, 2026 10am-1pm @ Lorton Library

We are in need of Greeters, Childcare volunteers, Repairers, and Knife Sharpeners for our event this weekend.

Do you sharpen knives at home?

Do you fix things - software, hardware, textiles, jewelry, anything - at home, or for friends?

If so - great! We'd love to work with you. But even if you don't, we would *still* love to work with you. Greeters are our most essential role, enabling the whole event to run smoothly, and being a greeter requires 0 repair background.
