This is a shameless plea to boost this appeal for more followers. I know I might not replicate the 115k follower count on my “permanently suspended” #Twitter account where I’ve posted for 14 years. Engagement is already much better here and so far it’s devoid of trolls. Your feedback to my polls here clearly show a desire for me to actively post news and 95% say I shouldn’t take down my @elonjet tweets as demanded by the other platform for my account to be reinstated there.

I've only been here for like 2 seconds but just a few thoughts (and to my OGs please correct me if I'm wrong):

- Mastodon is NOT the Fediverse. So many other great things exist out here. Have fun and look them up.

- Just because the equiv of Q/RT don't exist on Mastodon doesn't mean they don't exist in the Fediverse. 'Cause I been out here doing just that!

- A LOT of us are just getting here, so it's easy to make assumptions. But please resist that and ask questions and pass on all useful info. (Again, have I told you all about Calckey?)

- Be kind. We are all trying to figure out this out while going through a collective trauma.
