Decided on giving Stars Without Number a go. I've gathered a party and I just got myself a second hand physical copy 🚀
Let's f*cking go to space 🌌
Me yesterday: Really in a Sci-fi space exploration mood at the moment.
Steam today: HOW ABOUT ALL OF IT
Thanks for all the TTRPG Sci-Fi suggestions yesterday!
I was looking for a bit of Mass Effect and a bit of Firefly.
It came down to "Stars Without Number"!
I also found a bunch of suggestions elsewhere that looked neat.
This one stood out:
"Mythic Space" - Apparently it's Halo + Mass Effect - I might need this one too!
I have the urge to play a Sci-Fi TTRPG in a Mass Effect and Firefly style.
Mass effect in terms of combat, space politics, scale and characters/creatures.
Firefly in terms of being a ragtag crew going sailing through space.
I'm looking at various systems like:
* Stars Without Number
* Scum and Villainy
* Starfinder
Having a hard time deciding.
Someone out there who's played a game in this Mass Effect + Firefly style mentioned above?
