Learn to laugh at yourself, and you will never be without a source of amusement. People say that we engineers don't have a sense of humor and can never laugh. Nonsense. We find the actions of non-engineers hilarious.

I have found that most people find it easier to deny that a problem exists than try to fix it. They have also found it better for their salary and career. By the time these actions destroy the company, they assume that they will have to a higher paying job.

#scientificmanagement It's hard to decide where to put these comments, but the existence of the book The Principles of Scientific Management by Frederick Winslow Taylor would suggest that this is an appropriate place. Taylor said that it was the duty of management to properly train workers and give them the proper tools. Management seems to have forgotten that part. He also said that it was okay to lie to the workers. Management seems to have accepted that part whole-heartedly.

@georgetakei When I saw this, I assumed that these people would go ballistic over the words "Don we now our gay apparel". Then I looked it up on Google. They did, and Hallmark changed it to "fun apparel".
