I love working with texture in my art and have never really shared that technique with anyone. I think that's why I'm so excited (and scared) about teaching some of my secrets on Wednesday at the Palette Knife Painting Party At The Exchange on Wednesday. Beauty life this only happens with texture.

Well, we might have become persona non grata. Recent events seem to have been miscommunicated, and there is something I need to get off my chest because I want to clear the air. To be honest, we are a little disappointed and were not expecting this. I am hoping it can be resolved. We'll see.

Wow. Our first official Art Syndicate meeting was a massive success. The room at The Fallen Shoppe was buzzing with the kind of "creative conspiracy" energy we’ve been dreaming about. To have a room full of awesome creative humans was invigorating! Awesome things to come in our area!

I have some food for thought: we are artists, not a toaster. We don’t just "pop" when the art is done, and we definitely don’t have crumb trays. It can take time. Creativity is not like a corporate conveyor belt. You’re here to make magic and find your voice, not be a production machine. Just sayin.
