The first picture is from a few weeks ago. I thought sledding season was over until the storm yesterday. I went snowshoeing and marveled at how fast the wind can fill in your tracks. Many years ago I was snowshoeing with someone and we got lost because our trail had disappeared. We were losing light, so we hiked out to the road to get our bearings.

In a major win for digital privacy, the European Parliament just (again) limited all scanning of communications for child abuse material to specific suspects. No mass surveillance, no #chatcontrol. Now the negotiations with Member States will be interesting. They are already supposed to start tomorrow morning.
