Sometimes other documents show more details - a different census, war record, death record. There might be newspaper articles. And they might appear in the Canadian records or newspapers.
This is so interesting.
It seems likely my distant grandmother's husband was from East Kilbride. And her father travelled from Newton Mearns to East Kilbride to win a prize at a fair - a cattle fair from memory. It's yet to be proven whether the husband was the father of my less distant grandmother. We are sorely missing DNA matches to Mr East Kilbride, yet just this week I got a nice sized DNA match on the other side of the family from a same era Scottish Borders couple.
Kirk Wynd in East Kilbride to the southeast of Glasgow, lined with late 18th century and early 19th century dwelling houses, and with a 19th century church tower in the distance. The church itself was built in 1776, but the tower wasn't added until 1818.

If anyone in the St Louis, Missouri area, preferably on the south end, has any common French lilac live shoots they'd like to sell or give away, please message me. I'm having a heck of a time finding plain old French lilac, all the nurseries are selling dwarf varieties. We have a Korean Pixie lilac but I'm looking for the classic one my grandma had.
Seems like My Red Book is no longer unreleased!

This is a Stihl battery, wide cut mower from Australia. Skin only (i.e. no battery or charger).
It seems different Stihl mowers use different batteries. So you'd also need to check that your existing Stihl batteries work with your mower.
You will need to do your homework on getting a new lawn mower. Weight. Ruggedness. Battery life.
Here in Australia, we have gas/petrol mowers with a wider cut and also self propelled mowers - don't know about these attributes in electric mowers. SupaSwift's Big Bob has a wider cut. And I see they also have a self propelled mower.

Almost certainly electric mowers are on sale at certain times of the year. Stihl has sales in Australia from time to time.
