Fellas, I'm proud to announce, I'm Ace. Not asexual, I got to Ace rank (the top rank) on Ultra Rumble again.
Some things I noticed this season so far: Character variety seems high right now, I don't feel like the recent patch really made a huge improvement on the balance, but I guess it got people more comfortable to play low-tiers.
I don't have direct stats to reference but I believe my most played characters were Armored All-Might, Monoma, Fairy Nejire, Mt. Lady, Kaminari. Fairy Nejire helps Mt. Lady a ton, and so does the Tuning on that recently available Party Outfit. Tuning is a wild mechanic.
I've started to think Fairy Nejire might be one of the best characters in the game. She doesn't directly dunk on opponents like other top tiers, but she's still decent in a fight, and her healing lets her teammates be so much tankier than the opponents. The healing is just generally great for surviving the battle-royale chaos.
Oh hey, I got that Monoma costume from last season that I wanted.
