"All moderation is political. To claim impartiality and non-bias, especially in [Enter the year in {YYYY} format], is to take the side of the status quo."

The common cultural belief had mostly been that we need a narrative, a diachronic view on our life to establish moral values.

But with our current understandings of the empathy and social nature of the brain, we now know that a purely scientific view, with no attachment to our identity and "story" yields a far more accurate, meaningful and ethical paradigm than our anecdotal values.

But there was now no man to whom AC might give the answer of the last question. No matter. The answer -- by demonstration -- would take care of that, too.

For another timeless interval, AC thought how best to do this. Carefully, AC organized the program. The consciousness of AC encompassed all of what had once been a Universe and brooded over what was now Chaos. Step by step, it must be done.

And AC said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT!"

And there was light.

Rationality and emotional resilience work the same way (referring to training brain to become good at something). these are neural connections that can be strengthened.

Whatever you are doing at any time, you are physically modifying your brain to become better at it.

Since this is a such a foundational mechanism of the brain, being self aware can greatly enrich our life experience.

Carl Schmitt's thoughts on liberalism is soo messed up. SCARY!!!
Time for Congress to get rid of Gandhi. Have someone else elected as the party president and possible PM candidate. Need drastic change.
When is the US State department putting sanctions on Indian companies which built tech for #Aadhaar #NPR and #NRC. Probably this will be the straw that breaks these things down and India to stop implementing CAA. #IndiaAgainstCAA #IndiaRejectsCAA

On North Block in Delhi, there is an inscription - "“Liberty will not descend to a people. A people must raise themselves to liberty. It is a blessing that must be earned before it can be enjoyed." It was put there by the British, but I do think that the current government is challenging the Indian people, to earn that blessing.
