Therefore You Became

My distant precious dear beloved,
you came once again into my dreams,
and you asked me: Who are you to me?
I answered you with all honesty and devotion:
I am the one who loves you, adores you, and worships you,
I am the one whose heart, soul, age, and life you own always and forever,
I am the one who thinks of you and dreams of you always,
I am the one who wants to be with you truly always and forever
in every life, and even in the hereafter.

The most beautiful moment of my life,
When my words tell
Those who have no voice,
You are not alone,
I call out for you,
With love, peace, humanity, and goodness always.

Sometimes, suffering doesn't need a solution, but to be seen,
When oppressors close the doors,
I write my words, to be light,
For everyone in this troubled world,
For those who have no voice,
For those searching for a light of hope to illuminate the darkness of despair,
For those who pray for good

I Hope For This

O God You are my Lord, there is no god except You,
You created me and I’m Your servant,
I abide to Your covenant and promise as much as I can.
I seek Your refuge from the evil I commit,
I acknowledge Your Grace upon me,
and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me,
for verily non can forgive the sins except you.

I thank You deeply from my heart, O my Lord,
praise be to You always and forever for the gift of poetry,
I know they are just words,
but perhaps by Your will

I Hope

Very unfortunately,
people fight over all that is transient,
forgetting that we all will depart this world
without taking anything with us
except the results of our deeds
which determine our fate in both worlds,
this life and the hereafter,
always and forever.

I hope people awaken from their heedlessness of the truth,
that this world is a place of passing, not of permanence,
and that death is the only true victor in the end,
and we all are but memories

Because I am

What do I prefer about myself?

Because I am a poetic bird, a humble poetic soul, a humanitarian poet, a rebel against injustice and ignorance, and I carry a message of love and peace in this wounded world, my answer could be:

I love that I have never abandoned humanity, even when I was wounded repeatedly.

I write to be a voice for the voiceless, a spectrum of light in this world's darkness.

How Can I Say?

How sad these days are,
how very cruel they are,
they shatter my dreams of love, of peace,
of humanity, of goodness.

How can I say that I am fine?
When nothing around me is all right,
my dreams have turned into nightmares,
making me cry so much,
unable to sleep.

Destruction, killing, and harm
are everywhere in my wounded homeland Lebanon,
its streets are filled with the displaced,
fleeing from the deadly machines of war,
sleeping on the cold bare ground,

What's the Point of All This?

I know from the first moment I saw you,
that you're not like other women.
I know you're different from them,
and that none of them are like you.

I know that my soul loved you, not just my heart,
my soul was with all love for you saying: I love you, I love you,
and it was telling me: This is my lost half,
and I began feeling that you are my soulmate.

True Love

We all feel love and the happiness it brings,
But very unfortunately,
This is not true love,
And happiness is a beautiful feeling, but it is false and temporary,
Because the love we feel
Is linked to instincts and desires and lusts that give us temporary happiness.

But true love transcends desires and instincts and lusts of our bodies,
It is a pure feeling as the spirit.

And therefore the greatest love
Is love for Allah Almighty,

Very Hard Tests

I am like all people,
I want many things,
Feeling that my happiness lies in having them,
Always wishing and dreaming of them.

But when I lose hope in attaining them,
I become very angry,
And feel a very great sadness,
This may even affect
My faith in Allah Almighty,
And my constant fear of Him,
And my constant content with what He has given me.
And this is the test I must win.

The true provision we should ask Allah for,
Is His blessing, His mercy, His forgivenes
